Welcome to Our Sweet Retreat. These Terms & Conditions govern your use of this website and any reservations made through our direct booking platform. By using this website or booking a stay, you agree to the following terms.

1. RESERVATIONS & PAYMENTS

​

All reservations are subject to availability and are not confirmed until payment has been received and a confirmation email has been issued.

By making a reservation, you agree to provide accurate and complete information and authorize us to charge the applicable payment method for all booking-related charges, including applicable taxes, fees, damages, or additional services.

Rates, minimum stay requirements, fees, and availability are subject to change without notice until a reservation is confirmed.

2. RENTAL AGREEMENT

​

Guests may be required to review and sign a separate Rental Agreement prior to check-in. The Rental Agreement contains additional terms and conditions related to the reservation and occupancy of the property, including but not limited to house rules, occupancy limits, cancellations, security deposits, damage responsibility, amenity use, liability waivers, and other stay-related policies.

By completing a reservation, guests agree to review and comply with the terms of the Rental Agreement and all property policies.

In the event of any conflict between these Terms & Conditions and the signed Rental Agreement, the Rental Agreement shall control.

Failure to complete required agreements or provide requested information may result in cancellation of the reservation.

3. CANCELLATIONS & REFUNDS

​

Cancellation and refund policies are provided at the time of booking and form part of these Terms & Conditions. Guests are responsible for reviewing and understanding the cancellation policy prior to confirming a reservation.

Refunds, if applicable, will be processed according to the cancellation terms associated with the reservation.

4. CHECK IN & OUT

​

Guests agree to comply with all stated check-in and check-out times unless prior written arrangements have been approved.

Unauthorized late check-outs or early arrivals may result in additional charges.

5. GUEST RESPONSIBILITIES

​

Guests agree to:

​

  • Treat the property with care and respect

  • Follow all posted house rules and occupancy limits

  • Maintain reasonable noise levels

  • Comply with all local laws and regulations

  • Leave the property in reasonable condition upon departure

 

Guests are financially responsible for any damage, excessive cleaning, missing items, or violations caused during their stay.

6. PROPERTY USE

​

The property may only be used for lawful vacation lodging purposes. Parties, events, commercial activities, or unauthorized gatherings are prohibited unless expressly approved in writing.

We reserve the right to terminate a reservation without refund if guests violate house rules, exceed occupancy limits, engage in illegal activity, or create unsafe or disruptive conditions.

7. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER

​

Use of the property and website is at the guest’s own risk. To the fullest extent permitted by law, Our Sweet Retreat and the property owners are not liable for any accidents, injuries, illnesses, losses, damages, delays, or inconveniences arising from:

  • Use of the property

  • Amenities or recreational features

  • Acts of third parties

  • Weather or natural events

  • Utility, internet, or service interruptions

  • Theft, loss, or damage to personal belongings

Guests are encouraged to obtain appropriate travel insurance.

8. FORCE MAJEURE

​

We are not responsible for cancellations, interruptions, or changes caused by events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, governmental actions, pandemics, labor shortages, transportation disruptions, or utility failures.

9. WEBSITE USE

All website content, including photographs, branding, logos, text, and design, is the property of Our Sweet Retreat and may not be copied, reproduced, or distributed without written permission.

While we strive to maintain accurate information, we do not guarantee that all website content will always be current, complete, or error-free.

10. PRIVACY

Use of this website is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how guest information is collected and used.

11. GOVERNING LAW

​

These Terms & Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of Oregon without regard to conflict of law principles.
