Camper Rules

The Camping Corner @ Our Sweet Retreat is a special spot on our half acre property offering the perfect glamping getaway in a vintage-style Shasta trailer with exclusive access to an outdoor shower and soaking tub area for a fun and memorable stay. This sweet set-up is ideal for additional space when already reserving the farmhouse and detached studio, Our Sweet Retreat. Or sometimes for more last minute stays, if the farmhouse is not already booked, The Camping Corner can be rented independently so you will want to inquire about availability. The Camping Corner is a seasonal rental (May - October) meant for adult singles or couples only (minimum age is 18) who are looking to enjoy and explore the Wilsonville area and beyond. We want guests to relax but we also hope to be able to continually provide exceptional accommodations because our guests understand they are to leave our property as they found it...clean, neat and tidy.

Completion of a guest information form with verification of government ID and a signed rental agreement is required for your reservation to be finalized. A security deposit up to $500 as an authorized hold on your credit card is also required.
A guest guidebook will be provided to guests prior to arrival and you must read, acknowledge and adhere to that information during your stay.
The person named on the reservation will be our point of contact and must be present during the entire stay (unless discussed in advance with us). They are responsible to convey the information found in the Guest Guidebook to other guests staying or visiting and ultimately for the actions of those other guests while at the property during their stay.
The number of guests accessing the Camping Corner must match the amount stated in your reservation and is not to exceed the trailer maximum (2 adults) unless you have received advance permission. This includes overnight use or use of the trailer and/or property grounds whether staying overnight or not. See next rule if you'd like for exceptions to be considered or ask us about our event packages.
Parties are never allowed (including co-ed wedding party and/or sport team stays). Events, business meetings or social gatherings may be considered but are not allowed without express permission by the owner first (additional fee may apply).
Pets are not allowed. We strive to provide a pet allergy-free environment.
No smoking or vaping of any kind is allowed. Absolutely, no marijuana or using drugs during your stay. Please drink responsibly and dispose of bottles and cans in the appropriate recycling bins. The internet may not be used for illegal activities.
Do not move or re-arrange furniture without permission by the owner. Do not use any form of mounting material to hang things from walls, ceilings, etc. No candle burning, we provide flameless, battery-operated candles for you to use instead. Do not operate indoor fireplace. Outdoor fire pits have specific rules for operating, if not followed, fines may apply. Firewood is provided.
Bicycle riding and any water activities on the Willamette River or any other bodies of water are done at your own risk.

OTHER THINGS TO NOTE

Please be respectful of the surrounding community and our neighbors by honoring quiet hours from 10:00 PM - 8:00 AM with no outdoor music past 9:30 PM and no fire pit time or outdoor bath time past 11:00 PM. There are noise monitors at the property and our neighbors have our cell number so they will call if there are issues.
We have a security system with external cameras on the property and they will be turned on.
Please do not have any items shipped to the property without advance permission.
We do have a crew who does weekly yard maintenance at the property so please be aware they may be present at times.
The detached garage is for homeowner use only and should not be accessed by guests.

GUEST & PROPERTY ACCESS

Guests will be given a unique door code and it will be activated for keyless check-in once they have completed the required pre-arrival form sent to them in advance of their arrival date. The Camping Corner can be separate rental unit (which is set apart by a chain fence) on the same property as Our Sweet Retreat. The intention is guests who are staying at the Camping Corner would be associated with those who have booked Our Sweet Retreat so they would have full access to the entire property as additional guests. Both spaces are designed to be independent from each other though so there may be a few occasions when they are rented separately as well. If that is the case, then The Camping Corner guests should only use The Camping Corner portion of the property. The locked storage room may be accessed by guests for use of the bicycles, water sports equipment and lawn games on a first come, first serve basis...please ask us for the door key code.
